Deacon Shelton assists Father John Bowen, SS in blessing the ground where the convent living addition is being built. Construction began in October 2008. The building is expected to be completed by fall of 2009.
This is a drawing of the new addition which will have 32 rooms for assisted living and skilled care, an accessible chapel, dining area, activity room, and wellness center. This building completion in Phase I is a plan to refurbish the entire Mount Providence Convent in order to better accommodate the many individuals and groups that come to the Motherhouse.
